Synopsis:

Miles Massey (Golden Globe® winner Clooney, Ocean's Twelve, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind) is a successful Beverly Hills lawyer specializing in divorces. When he takes on the case of rich client Rex Rexroth, he finds that some ex-wives just don't go gently into the night.

Beautiful Marylin Rexroth (Academy Award® winner Zeta Jones, Ocean's Twelve, The Terminal) is the scheming, gold-digging ex-wife who will fight tooth and nail to gain a formidable chunk of her ex-husband's fortune. But she loses the case, thanks to Massey's legal skills.

Now she's out for revenge, and this won't be the last time she will be crossing swords with Massey. Marylin tries to beat Massey at his own game by immediately marrying oilman Howard Doyle (Thornton, Friday Night Lights, The Alamo) and insisting that Massey draw up a pre-nuptial agreement for her and husband #2. As he digs deeper into her motives, he finds that he is attracted to Marylin.

The film is a ruthless and funny take on the erstwhile battle of the sexes. Critic Roger Ebert says "Clooney and Zeta-Jones play their characters perfectly."
