Synopsis:

After a devastating battlefield injury, 18-year-old Ernest Hemingway is nursed back to health by a Red Cross nurse, Agnes Von Kurowsky. An unexpected romance, which will forever change their lives, soon blossoms against the bleak surroundings of misery and war. An extraordinary relationship which reveals some of the forces that shaped one of America's greatest literary figures, and inspired Hemingway to write his classic love story, A Farewell To Arms.
