Synopsis:

Daisy (Danes) is a typical teenager with typical teenage concerns like boyfriends, movies, and school. The most popular boy in school falls for her and wants her to change for him. Living with her grandmother, who lived through the Holocaust, Daisy finds inner strength from the mentoring of the strong-willed grand dame, which she needs as she finds the challenge of staying true to herself.
