Synopsis:

DJay (Howard) is a low-life pimp and drug dealer who is reaching mid-life crisis and realizes there is no more meaning in life for him. Then he meets an old pal and his passion for music is reignited. The two and a white drummer boy then form a trio, and pull all stops to release their song and jumpstart their new music career.
