Synopsis:

Elvis Jackson knows about failed dreams and foster homes. He's a living testimony of it. But a shot at a scholarship to the University of Alabama might just lift him out of the doldrums, and out of his past. All he needs to do is become the Crusader's top player for the season at the state championships. It is here that he meets hardliner coach Schuler, who is skeptical of his abilities on the field, especially with tough competition from his teammates - including Schuler's nephew.

Elvis finds a friend in Rachel, whose job is to help him throughout the season. Through their time together, and an injury that knocks him out for the ten-count, Elvis discovers that there is a place between having everything and having nothing. Time to find out if he's got the stuff to be something.
