Heartburn (1986)Synopsis: Rachel Samstat (Streep) is a food writer at a New York magazine who meets Washington columnist Mark Forman (Nicholson) at a wedding and ends up falling in love with him despite her reservations about marriage. They do get married and live the life of the perfect couple. They buy a house, have a daughter, and everything seems great until Rachel gets pregnant a second time.
