Synopsis:

Just when is gossip news? Perhaps when it's a hot psychological thriller featuring the freshest young faces this side of S Club 7. Posing the same question, a journalism professor challenges his students to define the difference between news and gossip.

On a whim, three university students, Derrick (Marsden, Ally McBeal), Jones (Headey), and Travis (Reedus), decide take him to task. Experimenting with the possibilities, they begin to spin a little yarn and track how intense the aftermath can be. Their guinea pigs - an openly chaste Naomi (Hudson, Almost Famous) who won't have sex with her man, Beau (Jackson, The Skull) and Beau - who in turn, claims he actually did have sex with her.

Yet when Naomi gets Beau arrested for rape, Derrick, Jones, and Travis become entangled in their own web of lies, forcing deadly secrets to re-surface. Which only goes to show how bad gossiping can be and how much fun Gossip the movie really is.
