Synopsis:

Rags to riches. Orphan to pop diva. When Billie Frank (Mariah Carey) is spotted by a record producer and asked to sing back-up for a soon-to-be-famous pop singer, she shows the music industry a thing or two about taking your vocals out for a walk.

Made for bigger things than back-up, her voice soon woos the talent and the heart of super DJ Dice (Max Beesley), who gives her a chance at stardom. Billie and Dice are an instant hit, and a fiery couple.

But stardom breeds strain, and strain breeds the need for a choice. One that will leave Billie choosing between her love for music, and her love for Dice.
