Synopsis:

Crowe plays Maximus, a betrayed Roman General who returns to Rome as a Gladiator to take revenge after his wife and son are brutally murdered by Prince Commodus (Phoenix, Quills, Signs) when he turns against his own father to take over the Roman Empire.

The film features stunning visual effects and some of the most unconventional movie-making techniques of our time. Gladiator is nothing short of a masterpiece.
