Finding Forrester

Synopsis:

William Forrester (Oscar Winner Connery, Entrapment, The Rock) won the Pultizer four decades ago and then, mysteriously disappeared.

Jamal Wallace (Brown) aspires to be a writer, and his brilliance on and off the basketball court gets him a seat at an elite Manhattan school. His curiosity gets the better of him one day, as he sneaks into the house of a neighbourhood grouch, and accidentally leaves his writings behind.

This sparks a beautiful relationship between the two, where the grouch - who turns out to be the Pulitzer winner, William Forrester, helps Jamal with his writings and guides him through tough times amidst the elitist crowd at school, and Jamal in turn helps Forrester take himself out of a forgotten past and into the vibrant present.
