Evolution's Child

Synopsis:

A child is about to be born ... and fathered by a three-thousand-years old man from the "Bronze Age".

When the human relic is discovered frozen in time in the Italian Alps, a semen sample is extracted for what could be the most valuable DNA study to date and could reveal secrets about our species, even if the sample is rather old. But when the sample accidentally finds itself inseminated into Elaine, a woman having trouble conceiving, it becomes the world's biggest secret.

Dr James Mydell (Ken Olin) is the fertility expert in charge of the study and finds out about the mix-up only when it's too late and decides to keep it a secret ... a secret that will catch up with him as the boy grows up and his primitive lineage begins to rear it's ugly head.

It seems our environment is hostile to his survival, and they discover that their child is dying. What starts out as a possibility of restarting evolution turns out to be a life-shattering mistake.
