Escape from New York

Synopsis:

Ex-con Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell, Tango and Cash, Unlawful Entry, The Thing) is about to find his fate closely entwined with the President of the United States. The year is 1997, and believe it or not this is the future, where high crime rates have turned the Big Apple into a maximum-security prison. More cell space perhaps, but trying to get out would be a fatal mistake. But that's not Snake's immediate worry, because he's going in to save the President, who, thanks to a high-wire act of terrorist is forced to eject out of Air Force One and make an emergency landing in this hell hole he created. To make sure Snake doesn't go slithering away, he's injected with a time bomb that will detonate should he fail in his mission. With New York City crawling with criminal filth, Snake should blend in perfectly. Question is, will he get out alive?
