Elf (2003)

Synopsis:

Buddy the Elf is not your usual pint-size Santa's helper. A human raised at the North Pole, Saturday Night Live-alum Will Ferrell (Bewitched, Starsky & Hutch, Zoolander, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) stars as the big and clumsy elf that journeys to New York City in search of his father, played by the legendary James Caan (The Godfather, Rollerball, Funny Lady), and stepmother, Oscar and Golden Globe winner Mary Steenburgen (Levin and Howard, Time After Time).

But the City is not all merry and chirpy like Santa's Workshop. What's a man with the heart of an elf to do to save Christmas for New York and the world?

The first-class cast includes Emmy nominee Bob Newhart (Legally Blonde 2, In & Out, ER) and Emmy winner Edward Asner (Happily Even After, The Man Who Saved Christmas).
