Synopsis:

At first glance, this may sound like a recipe for disaster - a man playing second banana (pun intended) to a chimpanzee? So the fact that the result is not only consistently entertaining, but frequently laugh-out-loud funny, comes as a very pleasant surprise.

The man in question is Matt Leblanc (TV's Friends, Lost In Space) who plays Cooper, a minor league pitcher who is experiencing a pitching slump. His dubious luck brings him an amazing roommate - the new third baseman named Ed - who just happens to be a chimp with amazing throwing skills.

In ways he could never expect, Cooper's life and career completely turns around when Ed helps him open his eyes and heart to the game and ones he loves.

This non-stop fun-fest, directed by Oscar-winner Bill Couturie, also features the comedic stylings of Jayne Brook and Charlie Schlatter.
