| | Ed TVSynopsis: Given the current craze over reality TV shows like Survivor and Temptation Island, Ron Howard's Ed TV couldn't have come to the small screen at a better time. Based on the French comedy, Louis 19 : The King Of The Airwaves, (and not on Jim Carrey's similarly themed, The Truman Show, as most people would like to think), this American version tells of a video store clerk, Ed (McConaughey, Contact) whose life is thrown into chaos when he agrees to let an executive of a television studio film him for 24 hours. Expect plenty of laughs, high tension drama and to be star strucked ? thanks to several celebrity cameos, including Jay Leno, Martin Landau, Ellen Degeneres and Elizabeth Hurley. Also, catch director and erstwhile actor, Rob Reiner (A Few Good Men, When Harry Met Sally) hamming it up as the station's head honcho.
