Dreamgirls

Synopsis:

Set in the 1960s, three aspiring singers are on their way to finding out what it's like to have their wildest dreams come true. Discovered at a local talent show by ambitious manager Curtis Taylor Jr., the trio is soon offered the opportunity of singing backup for popular singer James "Thunder" Early. Molded into an unstoppable hit machine and propelled into the spotlight as "the Dreams," the small-town girls with big-city dreams soon realize that fame has a much greater cost than any of them would have anticipated.
