Dragnet

Synopsis:

Two of L.A.'s finest law enforcer, Joe Friday (Dan Aykroyd ? Loser) and Pep Streebek (Tom Hanks ? Cast Away), are assigned to some very unusual robberies that expose corruption to threaten the very fabric of L.A. society.

Starring Christopher Plummer as the ambitious Reverend Whirley, Dabney Coleman as the soft porn master Jerry Caesar and Alexandra Paul as the prim maiden Connie Swail makes for a hilarious cast. Friday and Streebek rescue Swail from a hands of a radical group calling themselves P.A.G.A.N.'s (People Against Goodness and Normalcy).

Suspecting the group of criminal conspiracy the likes of which the city has never seen before, Friday and Streebek go undercover to expose a corrupt police commissioner but now have to prove it. Their boss, Captain Bill Morgan (Harry Morgan) backs their investigation, for now.

This hilarious action comedy takes you on a crazy journey through the streets of this mad metropolis. Get ready to laugh.
