Synopsis:

Mary Ann Bonner is a mid-western mother who is given custody of her young son. Her ex-husband Robert, a volatile policeman and harsh parent, is furious about the decision. Later, Mary Ann meets soft-spoken Patrick Brouse (Brosnan, The Matador, After The Sunset) and a quick romance develops. Mary Ann and Brouse marry and plan to move to Los Angeles. All at once, Brouse becomes husband and father to her 9-year old son. But, when Mary Ann and her son decide to drive across country to their new home, they find themselves stalked by her angry ex-husband and a mysterious third party. An intriguing psychological thriller that slowly entwines the characters to a climatic end.
