Dr Benjamin Stone (Golden Globe® winner Fox, Spin City, Family Ties, Back To The Future) is on his way to a big-bucks job in Beverly Hills. Enroute to L.A., he gets lost and ends up in a traffic accident in a small South Carolina town. Sentenced to do public service at the local hospital for a few days, he can't wait to get out of this hick town but the townspeople start to like him and plot to have him stay ... and he meets beautiful ambulance driver Lou (Warner).
