Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

Synopsis:

A Time Magazine article insinuating that Vivi (Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore) wasn't a good mother compromise her relationship with her daughter Sidda Lee (Sandra Bullock, Speed, Murder By Numbers, Forces Of Nature). Seems Sidda doesn't really understand her mother's past sacrifices, and it's up to the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (made up of Oscar winner Maggie Smith, Shirley Knight and Fionnula Flanagan) to show her the way.

Her best and lifelong friends, the Ya-Yas know just what Vivi's gone though to earn her motherhood, and they're not going to let some cheesy article in any magazine change that. Turning to the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood for wisdom - a scrapbook of letters, ticket stubs and other little things - they take Sidda on a trip down memory lane, and intervene as sisters do to bring mother and daughter back together.
