Deceit

Synopsis:

In this murder thriller, Ellen McCarthy (Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award winner Thomas, Playing Mona Lisa) is the wife of successful businessman and prominent community member Grove McCarthy (Devane, 24, Monte Walsh).

As the movie opens, a memorial service is being held for Ellen's husband Grove, who vanished six weeks before while sailing during a rainstorm off the Long Island Sound. Although his body has yet to be recovered, he is presumed dead. On the surface, the McCarthys appeared as the perfect family - wealthy, happy and living the good life - but things are not as they seem. Through a series of flashbacks, we discover that Grove's business was in trouble, he may have been having an affair and he became a raging alcoholic. Furthermore, Grove's best friend and business partner is not who Ellen thought he was.

To complicate matters, a mysterious man befriends Ellen, although his motives are in question. When Grove's body is eventually found the questions only multiply. They discover that he did not drown but was murdered, and Ellen becomes the prime suspect
