| Death Wish 4: the CrackdownSynopsis: Charles Bronson reprises his role as quiet architect Paul Kersey, a man with a secret life as a merciless vigilante. Kersey has seen too much death and violence since the murder of his wife and daughter many years ago. Now living in Los Angeles, Kersey finds the past painfully repeating itself when the daughter of his reporter girlfriend Karen Sheldon overdoses on crack. Kersey is suspicious of Erica's boyfriend Randy, so he trails Randy, who is visiting his crack dealer. Kersey sees Randy being killed by the drug dealer, and an enraged Kersey kills the dealer. He realizes he has to go on the killing trail again when a wealthy entrepreneur finds out about Kersey's vigilante activities. The man hires him to attack the city's two main drug syndicates and surreptitiously wipe them out. Kersey does this without remorse, by methodically eliminating members from alternate sides until their own paranoia leads both groups to a major showdown. But Kersey soon discovers that he is being used for a more sinister plan. |
