Dancing in September

Synopsis:

Idealistic Tomasina 'Tommy' Crawford (Ari Parker, Blue Streak, Brown Sugar) is a television writer who is sacked from her current position for being honest to the show.

She decides to pitch her own show to an upcoming channel and with a few changes suggested by George Washington (Washington, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds), the show sees the light of day and is almost instantly a huge success.

But due to the show's overwhelming popularity and the increasing mass-appeal of the star, Tommy's goals for the show change and she sees herself becoming one of the typical money and management driven producers that she once hated.

Things go awry as her show Is pulled off the air even as it wins a prestigious award, and it forces her to think back and reflect on where she went wrong.
