D.A.R.Y.L.

Synopsis:

D.A.R.Y.L is no ordinary name, and no ordinary kid. Try Data Analyzing Robot Youth Lifeform. Found wandering about with what seems like amnesia, D.A.R.Y.L (Barret Oliver) is lucky to find a loving couple to take him in and help him put the missing pieces of his childhood together, so he can find his way home. They quickly discover that he's got special abilities, and as the pieces begin to merge, they form a much bigger puzzle.

In the comfort of his new home, robot boy makes new friends. But his identity cannot remain a secret, and soon, his "real parents" come to get him. Seems D.A.R.Y.L is a special government project, deemed more dangerous than a playful chimp with a nuke strapped to its back, and is also deemed fit for termination. But the boy just wants his family. If his friends know one thing, they know robot boy's got a big heart, which makes him more real and more worthy of protection than the government makes him out to be.

With a little "artificial intelligence", and a lot of help from his friends, D.A.R.Y.L might just get his wish.
