Crusader

Synopsis:

Hank Robinson (McCarthy, The Orphan King) is a journalist for a small time TV station who turns a news-breaking event to his own advantage. Out on a routine assignment, he witnesses a terrorist attack, but without film in his camera, he has no way to prove he was there. But one of his dying colleagues, caught in the crossfire, hands him his tape of the attack. Robinson passes off the footage as his own. He instantly becomes a celebrity and lands a job as a news anchor with a high-profile news network owned by a man named McGovern (York, Icon). But working for McGovern soon takes its toll as Robinson is told to play by the network's rules, throwing truth and integrity out the window. As he becomes embroiled in a destructive telecommunications conspiracy, Robinson finds that his deviousness has its consequences.
