Cowboy Bebop: the Movie

Synopsis:

The Red Planet. The aging 21st Century. The cool-talkin', crime-bustin', culture-shockin' Bebop gang taking their stellar popularity to the big screen. If that's not enough to whet your appetite for some anime action extraordinaire, the sci-fi gang with a bang has got a bold new mission: HUNT DOWN VINCENT VOLAJU, a mass murderer who unleashes a lethal virus on an oblivious city on Mars.

Seems Vincent was the last surviving member of a government medical experiment gone wrong using a microscopic robotic virus, and this is his way of, well...giving back to society.

And it's up to the Bebop to foil his plans for world annihilation, find an anti-virus, and flip the switch on some big-bang entertainment.
