Meet Ty Webb (Chase, Ellie Parker, Goose) daft golf ace and resident playboy, Al Czervik (Dangerfield, The 4th Tenor, Back By Midnight) the millionaire land developer whose coarse language and crude ways don't fit in with pompous club president Elihu Smails (Emmy Award winner Knight, The Mary Tyler Moore Show). On the other end of the social seesaw is Danny Noonan (O'Keefe, Delusion) who works as a golf caddy in the club in order to raise his tuition money for college, just in case he doesn't get the scholarship. Aside from assisting the snooty club members, Danny and his fellow caddies attempt indulge in antics of their own to liven up the summer. Demented greenskeeper Carl Spackler (Golden Globe winner Murray, Broken Flowers, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou) is obssessed with killing the fairway's elusive resident dancing gopher.
