Synopsis:

Fate gets a helping hand in bringing two unlikely lovers together from cultural extremes.

Sol (Tariq Trotter) and Sara (Karen Goberman) cross paths when their cars collide in an accident. Of West Indian descent, Sol is the leader of a group of hip-hop musicians rapping to make it big in the recording industry, and soon starts to have romantic feelings for Sara, something he is made to feel awful about by his friends - that he is betraying his roots.

Meanwhile, Sara's family is having a tough time trusting Sol. Against the grain and against all odds, this modern take on Romeo and Juliet breaks colored distinctions in the name of love.
