Brian's Song

Synopsis:

1965. The Chicago Bears welcome their newest running back Gale Sayers, and so does fellow rookie Brian Piccolo. Though they couldn't be more different, and both are competing for starting positions on the team, their friendship strengthens with time. But the road ahead is rocky without the marshmallows.

Though Sayers is clearly the more talented of the two, and rises to the top faster than his friend, he soon injures his knee. It is Piccolo's constant support and encouragement that lift him out of despair.

This fantastic remake of the 1971 Emmy Award-winning drama proves one thing - some bonds stand the test of time, and so do some movies.
