Synopsis:

A wealthy politician, Bob Roberts, appears on the surface as a sincere believer in national pride and family values. In truth, he is a hypocrite unearthed by Raplin, a reporter for an underground newspaper. Bob Roberts is a treasure for anyone who has sat through one too many "promise-them-anything" campaign speeches.
