Synopsis:

In a nutshell, this is the rags to riches to rags life of Bob Crane (Oscar® nominee Greg Kinnear, The Metador, Godsend, Stuck On You) - television superstar of smash hit sitcom Hogan's Heroes. It is the story of how stars shine their brightest just before they fade to black.

For radio DJ and family man Crane, showbiz stardom is just an accident waiting to happen. A call from his agent and a reluctant signing later, Crane becomes potential primetime sitcom fodder, and television's new funny bone.

But celebrity high life ushers in new friends - John Carpenter, no less - and new obsessions - pornography. Together, Crane and Carpenter (Oscar nominee Williem Dafoe, Spider-Man 2, James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing) take their perverted passion the whole nine yards.

A string of affairs, a convenient divorce and a cancelled sitcom later, Crane is without a job and deeper into porn than he'd care to imagine. From Hollywood A-list to amateur porn, cradle to coffin, this is the story of the celebrity junkie who OD'ed on fame and fortune.
