Synopsis:

Rebellious, strong-willed Zack Mayo (Golden Globe® winner Gere, Shall We Dance, Chicago) wants to make it through basic training for Navy flight school, and he will, if the Navy's toughest drill sergeant, Emil Foley (Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winner Gossett Jr., Lackawanna Blues, Momentum) doesn't break him and whip him into shape first. What Mayo doesn't count on is falling in love with local girl Paula (Winger, Sometimes In April, Eulogy).
