Synopsis:

The best-selling novel by celebrated author Nicholas Sparks becomes a teen melodrama set in a North Carolina coastal town.

Landon Carter (Shane West - The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Liberty Heights) is the cocky big man on campus, lording it over with the coolest clique, until a hazing incident leaves a fellow student paralyzed. Sentenced to doing community service and a stint at the high school's drama club, he crosses paths with preacher's daughter Jamie Sullivan (pop star Mandy Moore- The Princess Diaries, How To Deal).

Jamie is utterly guileless and sees the good in everything around her, and soon Landon finds himself drawn to her. They fall in love, and despite events conspiring to keep them apart, they both learn what it is like to love unconditionally.
